The EASTBIO Management and Support Team extends a big thanks to our student reps, our alumni/alumnae, our guest speakers and advisory board members, as well as our students and supervisors - you have all contributed to making the EASTBIO 2023 Symposium on Industry connections an inspiring, constructive and thoroughly enjoyable event to be a part of!

The EASTBIO Symposium 2023 with a focus on Industry (12-13 June 2023, John McIntyre Conference Center, Edinburgh) covered career transitions between academia-industry, industry-specific skills development, opportunities for work or placements outwith academia, student experiences from working with a non-academic partner, a well-being walk and opportunities for a variety of exchanges among the delegates. Tweet #eastbio23

Event details on the Symposium Booklet. We run sessions on Applied problem-solving, industry vs. research and alum panels, student poster presentations on PIPS and industry placements, networking and well-being activities and a Careers Fair.
