Prospective students for the 2013 cohort of BBSRC-funded EASTBIO Doctoral Training Partnership studentships can now see all potential projects listed on our Available Projects page. EASTBIO will offer a minimum of 34 fully-funded studentships to start in autumn 2013. Our application deadline is 18th January 2013.

Around 50% of our studentships focus on areas of current strategic importance to UK Bioscience. Please learn more about these areas, and our projects by clicking on headings below:

• Food Security
• Basic Biosciences Underpinning Health (Ageing)

The remaining 50% of studentships will be awarded in:

 World-class underpinning bioscience
 

The partnership provides fantastic opportunities for cutting edge, interdisciplinary and collaborative research training. As well as the training provided in the lab and host department, all EASTBIO studentships are provided with enhanced training delivered both face-to-face and online, allowing students and supervisors to build networks with eachother.
