Strand 2: Bioscience Skills

We expect our students to build up a minimum of forty hours of formal bioscience skills training throughout their PhDs. These hours can be built up from EASTBIO Optional Courses, Local Optional Courses and external provision where necessary. We are particularly keen that students develop of skills in mathematics, data analysis and new ways of working, skills essential to future world-class research careers.

Course details will be advertised in our newsletter and/or by email.
